CakePoker.com is a fairly popular online poker room that is open to US players. Cake Poker runs on the Cake Poker network along with a handful of other online poker skins. Cake Poker uses pretty good software, but it could be improved on. Visiting some online poker forums I have read about complaints about the Cake Poker software, but personally I have never experienced any problems. The Cake Poker software has good graphics and the gameplay is generally good. One thing that is unique is how players can choose what their character looks like at the tables.

Player Traffic

The player traffic at Cake Poker is above average and players should be able to find the type of game they are looking for when browsing the lobby. Higher stake players will find it a little harder to find a game, as the number of high stakes players online aren’t too high. Overall I have always been satisfied with the amount of players online at Cake Poker.

Cake has to be one of the best online poker rooms for promotions. In the spring of 2008 Cake Poker sent a bunch of players to the Playboy Mansion in California for a charity poker tournament and party. I was one of the players that won a trip to party at the Playboy Mansion and it was a blast. Cake Poker always has unique opportunity for players that really give them value for playing at Cake Poker.

Player Support

Cake Poker offers a basic e-mail support, but they do a great job in answering e-mails. E-mails are answered very quickly and the support people seem to know what they are talking about for the most part. Cake Poker has above average support for their players.
